\n\nJob Details:
\n• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in a hospital medical surgical setting
\n• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
\n• Assess patient physical, psychosocial, educational and safety needs
\n• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans
\n• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
\n• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to evaluate and plan patient care
\n• Develop relationships with families to promote patient advocacy
\n• Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families
\n• Participate in patient education and assess readiness to learn
\n• Utilize healthcare organization standards, policies and procedures in delivery of care
\n• Participate in professional development and performance improvement activities
\n• One year of nursing experience required
\n• Nursing diploma, ADN or ASN from accredited school of nursing required
\n• BSN or MSN from accredited school preferred
\n• Licensed to practice as Registered Nurse in North Carolina required
\n• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC) required
