Our client, a dynamic organization in the financial sector, is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their team. As an Accountant, you will be an integral part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Salinas, CA

Pay Range:

Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience (or more depending on level)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
