\n\nJob Details:
\n• Provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards in emergency department setting
\n• One year of nursing experience required
\n• Must hold current North Carolina Registered Nurse license
\n• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required (AHA or ARC)
\n• Nursing Diploma, ADN, or ASN from accredited school of nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred
\n• Coordinate and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in hospital setting
\n• Assess patient readiness to learn and developmental level factors affecting ability to learn
\n• Perform bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans
\n• Demonstrate competence in care of patients with complex problems including physical, psychosocial, educational and safety aspects
\n• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
\n• Participate in interdisciplinary team discussions for patient care evaluation
\n• Assess and anticipate discharge needs of individual patients and families
\n• Collaborate with patients and families to prepare and update care plans
\n• Utilize healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies and procedures in delivery of care
\n• Participate in unit goals and performance improvement activities
\n• Promote safe, clean and secure hospital environment for all
