AM 11a-7p, Monday to Friday, every other weekend, with call included.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. Responsibilities include maintaining all equipment for procedures, assessing safety, and ensuring the physical and physiological comfort of patients. The technician will also monitor the need for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging and treatment processes per guidelines.


• Maintain equipment and ensure safety during procedures.


• Assess patient comfort and monitor procedure revisions.


• Coordinate daily imaging procedures as required.


• Complete other duties as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician.


• Demonstrated knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment, including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and care.


• Current knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics.


• ARRT Certified and possess a New Jersey State RT License.


• BLS Certified.
